tribute to paper clips

i know the title is a little random. but seriously, this is a tribute to paper clips.

see...

the paper clip was invented by Johan Vaaler in 1899. and it was used for quite a long time, until, the paper clip was considered old news. And then, for the rest of its life it was banished, neglected, abused and scarred for life. It was lost in the corners of dirty drawers, put under heavy dictionaries and stuck in the pockets of torn jeans from the start of their short lives to the end. Poor little guy.

but there was still hope for that poor neglected soul, as business men and women everywhere still had to use it to be neat and tidy. and it evolved year after after year to the tough conditions of being a paper clip.
